This Means This is a stage experiment that deals with construction of meaning in language and in actions with the interest of corrupting their systems of signification. It undermines the relationship between signifier and signified and extends it into the field of non-verbal forms by exploring the use of indeterminacy in the relationship between objects, signs and their function. Zed, in an apparently random way, interacts with objects obsessed by her wish of achieving meaninglessness. In the end the whole apparatus fails and collapses, including the theatrical one, and it will only last a fragmented landscape inhabited by absurdity, humour and nothingness. What if one would be able to stop meaning attribution? What would happen then?
